Gilding the Edges of the Eastern Skyes;
Tis he has sent us hither with our mirth,
Thus to salute the greatest Prince on Earth.
Go, go said he, go cheer his Royal Heart
In loyalty and Art,
Let ev’ry Son of mine go bear his part.

Let no disloyall Cares his peace destroy,
Go give him Length of Days and Lasting Joy
And after he has Liv’d and Govern’d Long
Tell him Like me he shall be ever Young
Forever Lusty Juvennile and strong

His Life shall be but one Eternall Year:
So shall Each day a new years Day appear.
