Song on the King’s birth day
So all was clear’d when your Tryumphant beames appear’d
and soon your luster gave that beauty now which all things have.
Since you have remov’d and given three Nations rest
thear never was a king so lov’d
nor ever was land so blest
and att your auspicious birth wee
our generall Joyes emprove
for the day we give all too mirth
and the night is too short for our love.
