Song on her Royall Highness / Birth Day / Feb 6th 1699/70.

Again the welcome morn we sing
The Fairest of ye Beauteous spring
when Nature thro these happy Isles
Put on gracious looks and smiles
ye Heav’ns all their Pomp appear
To bless the favourite of ye year
an all things on this joyfull day
weave the Pleasant face of May.

Chorus
Behold great Princess at your feet
The world to pay your homage meet
The tunefull throng inspir’d by you
Their yearly task renew.

Oh may this Theam continue long
May Fate in you preserve our Peace
and Englands Hopes in yours Encrease.

Come come ye Brtains come & know
what to Beauteous[sp changed to bounteous second rep.] bounteous Heavn you owe
Come come ye Britains come come & know
what for you the Pow’rs have done
How they have secur’d the Throne [repetition of first part]

Vertue near it takes her feat
virtue dwells among the Great
Leave your Cityes and your Plains
see she in your Princess reigns
Lovely as the Purest Ray
of the First Created Day
Next the younger William view
future wonders there Behold
Such as of the Third are told
Fighting for the world and you.

Sound sound your trumpets
to arms to arms the young Hero excite
Let the Musick of War his High Courage enflame
till Ripe for Conquest he leads to the fight
and wins the bright Nymph from the Rivalls of Fame.

Grand Chorus
Now your loud Applause Declare
let shouts of Triumph rend the air.
Harke their voices reach the sky
all is harmony and Joy.
